The new Server PC is now up and running! Currently our TS3 server is now running smoothly on our new Server PC. The Server PC will be up 24/7 with exception of maintenance. No Fixed date for maintenance has yet been set, but will eventually be figured out as the server is being tested. Expected maintenance might be around once per week, or twice per month. More info on this subject to come.
The server is up and running without problems, now, what's next?
First of all, the SA-MP Server will come back to life. As it has been set up on the server, it will eventually be prepared for v0.3.7, as it currently is at 0.3z. More information regarding the SA-MP server is to be announced.
After the rise of the SA-MP Server, we might bring the Counter Strike: Source Classic and/or Surf server back to life, or we might instead prioritize a Garry's Mod Server, such as Sandbox, PistachioRP, Trouble In Terrortown and/or Morbus.
Currently the Gmod server is fully equipped with Morbus, meaning it just needs a few tweaks to be fully integrated into our server. However, if another Gamemode is to come first, we will be needing to do some heavy scripting and map finding to get them back on. All the Gamemodes should already exist, but requires a lot of work to be revived.
Also, Minecraft may be a future plan as well. It will in that case be a already existing server which I've had for very long, but of course in this case, some extra scripts for security measures will be required. We'll come back to this subject later on.
Ideas for other servers are of course welcome, and Team Fortress 2 is also being discussed as we speak.
As for some of our other old server such as CS:S GunGame and Zombie; they are on a old HDD which is broken. All hope is not lost, as I will look into getting some data out of the HDD. This is currently a distant plan, and more info about this will come later on.
I'd like to thank everyone for being patient and waiting for our new server replacement, and hope you guys look forward to the rise of our servers!
A new dawn is coming...
